We are holding a District Celebration on Thursday, February 12th at Timpanogos High School beginning at 6:30. The event includes performances from our high school music groups, an opportunity to meet Superintendent Jensen, and a new district logo reveal. We hope community members will attend!

On Saturday, January 31, the 16th Annual Lehi Community Chinese New Year Celebration will take place. This special event is organized by students who have previously participated—or will be participating—in a summer study abroad experience in Taiwan.
Over the past three summers, more than 200 students enrolled in Alpine School District Chinese programs at Skyridge, Lehi, Orem, Cedar Valley, Westlake, and Lone Peak High Schools have taken part in this district-approved, three-week study abroad program. Proceeds from this event help support students in participating in this district-sponsored trip to Taiwan.
The hour-long performance will showcase a variety of traditional and contemporary Chinese arts, including aerial silks, Sichuan Opera face-changing masks, Peking acrobat hoop diving, ribbon dance, and more.

El sábado 31 de enero se llevará a cabo la 16.ª Celebración Anual del Año Nuevo Chino de la Comunidad de Lehi. Este evento especial es organizado por estudiantes que ya han participado o que participarán en una experiencia de estudios en el extranjero en Taiwán durante el verano.
Durante los últimos tres veranos, más de 200 estudiantes inscritos en los programas de chino del Distrito Escolar de Alpine en las escuelas secundarias Skyridge, Lehi, Orem, Cedar Valley, Westlake y Lone Peak han participado en este programa de estudios en el extranjero aprobado por el distrito, con una duración de tres

We are so excited for our upcoming Fall Cougar Fest – one of the biggest and most fun events of the year! This is a wonderful opportunity for our whole school community to come together and celebrate. The evening will include:
- Cougar Run – cheer on our students as they run!
- Games and Activities – fun for kids of all ages.
- Silent Auction – bid on some amazing items and experiences.
- Delicious Food – take the night off from cooking and enjoy dinner with friends.
Cougar Fest is a great way to support our PTA, spend time with other families, and help raise funds that directly benefit our students. We hope to see you there for an evening full of food, fun, and community spirit!

If you’d like to volunteer at Cascade this year—for activities such as class field trips—you’ll need to complete a one-time fingerprinting. Once done, it will remain valid for the entire time your child attends Cascade. Fingerprinting will be available tomorrow, Thursday, August 28, from 2:30–5:30 pm at Cascade. Stop by to get it taken care of so you’re all set to volunteer!
Acadience Reading testing will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27. This assessment helps our teachers better understand each student’s reading needs and guide their literacy instruction. Please be sure your child arrives on time and ready for a great day of learning.
Bike Bus starts this Friday. The bike bus has been a successful way for kids and families to enjoy the time they had in getting to and from school. The bike bus runs every Friday until mid-November. Then picks up again in the Spring when it is warm enough.
