At Cascade, we know that your time and resources are extremely valuable and thus feel it important that we don’t waste those.  For that reason, we don’t ask your students to sell anything and we also don’t ask for monetary classroom donations.
One time each year we ask that you donate as much as you can and ask your friends and family to do the same.  Every penny you donate goes directly to the programs and resources and that help enrich your student’s education at Cascade.  Field trips, after school programs, technology resources, programs, incentives and positive behavior programs all are funded by are yearly fundraiser.
It is for this reason we ask that every student participate.  Our goal this year is to raise $16,000 which is an average of $20 per student.  Please ask grandparents, aunts and uncles, neighbors and friends.  It’s also a good idea to ask colleagues at work to donate and also to ask your employer.
We are collecting donations through September 22, 2017.  Donations can be made by clicking on the donate online button.  We can also accept cash or checks made payable to Cascade Elementary.  Please support your child in asking everyone you know to donate and help our school.
The Cougar Crawl itself is a culminating event on September 22, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM where students will run the track with their grade level to celebrate all their hard work.  We’ll have music, balloons, food trucks, a silent basket auction and students can even get a chance to duct tape their favorite principal to the wall.
Thank you for your generous support of Cascade.  In past years, I’ve been blown away by the amazing generosity of our patrons and community.  Remember this is the ONLY time we ask you for money as a fundraiser and EVERY penny goes directly to the students of Cascade.  These are great selling points to tell our potential donors.
