Your child may attend either full-day or half-day kindergarten this year (2023-24). ALL students will be enrolled as a full-day student. If you are unsure, you may want to consider trying Full-Day Kindergarten for 2-4 weeks before making your final decision. You can change to a half day after a meeting with Administration for the first 4-6 weeks. You can change from half-day to full-day at any time.
Full-day schedule: 8:00 am – 2:15 am
Half-day schedule: 8:00 am – Lunch
I understand that with the full-day option, my child will attend school from 8 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. and will participate in the school lunch program, special classes, and other programs offered to full-day students. I understand that with the half-day option, my child will start school at 8 am and will be picked up before lunch. Also, I will have to check out my student everyday from the office because there will be no outside pick up.
Kindergarten students will get the chance to participate in the Specialty rotations this year, including music, art, PE, and computers. They will attend each Specialty class once per week. (Days and time are yet to be determined)
