Kindergarten Parent Communication from ASD

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing flexible educational options for our students and their families, we are pleased to offer several enrollment choices for Kindergarten. Below is a guide to help parents understand the registration process for Full-Day Kindergarten, Half-Day Kindergarten, and a traditional Half-Day option. We encourage parents to review these options and select the one that best suits their child’s needs.

Full-Day Kindergarten Registration:

Parents interested in enrolling their child in Full-Day Kindergarten can easily do so through our online registration system. This convenient option ensures a seamless registration process from the comfort of your home.

Half-Day Kindergarten with Early Check-Out Option:

We also offer a unique option for families who wish to enroll their child in the Full-Day Kindergarten program but prefer to check them out early, partway through the day. To arrange this, please register your child online for the Full-Day program and then contact your school’s principal to finalize the details. This option allows you to move to Full-Day Kindergarten at any point during the school year.

Traditional Half-Day Kindergarten:

For those interested in the traditional Half-Day Kindergarten program, please note that enrollment will initially place your child on a waiting list. We encourage you to register online for the Full-Day KIndergarten option with an early check-out preference to secure a place in the class. This approach helps us gauge interest in the traditional Half-Day program and ensure we can accommodate all interested students. This class must maintain an enrollment of 19 or more students to continue at your school site.

We hope this information helps clarify the registration process for our Kindergarten programs. Our goal is to provide flexible options that meet the diverse needs of our students and their families. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your school’s principal.
