What is Cougar Fest?

This is our school’s main fundraising event to support the students and teachers at Cascade Elementary. Students and families are asked to gather money donations from the community.

Thursday, October 12, 5:30-7:30pm: This is our big event at the school with FREE admission, music, Fun Runs, kids activities (face paint, balloon animals, etc), food for purchase, a silent auction and much more. It will be a fun night with friends you won’t want to miss. It will be a great way to celebrate as a school community!

Why donate to Cascade Elementary during Cougar Fest? Since this is our main fundraiser at Cascade – we need your help. EVERY dollar raised/donated during Cougar Fest stays at the school to provide fun activities, books, teacher grants, student recognitions, and many other great programs run by the parents and teachers at Cascade.

How to donate: Wednesday, October 4: donation envelopes will be sent home (with instructions on collecting donations). Students will then begin collecting donations. Students can ask for donations from family, friends and neighbors. Those willing to donate can send cash, check or donate online

CougarFest 2023

CougarFest is Cascade’s biggest fundraiser and social event of the school year. Cascade Elementary and the PTA are planning a fun night for our Cascade students, families, faculty and neighbors and friends to get together and support the school. Activities will include Cougar Fun Runs, a Silent Auction, and booths you can visit to learn about exciting things happening at school and in the community.

Donations
Cascade Elementary is accepting donations to support the students and teachers. EVERY dollar raised/donated during CougarFest goes directly to the school to provide fun activities, books, teacher grants, student recognitions, and many other great programs run by the parents and teachers at Cascade

All donations are welcome. Even a small donation will help us reach our goal. Collection envelopes have been sent home with students and are available at the front office or at CougarFest. Cougar Fun Run:
Each grade will run for 10 minutes, getting as many laps as they can before time is up. All students who participate will get a small prize just for racing! Be sure to set your alarms so you don’t miss your race times.
The final race will be an Exhibition race where any student can participate…wearing inflatable costumes! Any student with an inflatable costume can participate and try to run 4 laps. It’s going to be epic!

Silent Auction:
You can bid on baskets and other items at the silent auction. Every purchase supports the school. Bid in person at the school from 5:30-7:00pm. Winners will be notified via text and can pay for and pick up their winnings at the event between 7:00-7:30pm or on Friday at the school between 8-3pm.
Food:
Lots of food options at affordable prices will be available for purchase at Cougarfest. All food purchases earn money for the school so come hungry!
Pizza Meal (1 slice of pizza, chips and a drink) or J Dawgs Meal (hotdog, chips & a drink) will be $7 per meal.
Appetizers and Snacks (tamales, dumplings, empanadas etc) will be $3 each.
Treats (popcorn, cookies, cotton candy) will be $1 each.
