Cascade Elementary Dress Code
General Expectations:
Students should dress appropriately for daily weather to ensure comfort during outdoor recess. Clothing and grooming must reflect standards of personal cleanliness and avoid extremes. Attire must not disrupt the educational process or draw undue attention.
The following items are not allowed:
- Ragged, tattered, or deliberately distracting clothing.
- Short shorts or skirts.
- Halter tops, bare midriffs, and cutoffs.
- Tank tops and “bike” shorts.
Clothing with slogans or images that:
- Are vulgar, profane, or obscene.
- Promote alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or messages contrary to the district’s educational mission.
- Footwear Students must wear appropriate shoes daily to allow for safe running and play.
- Flip flops are strongly discouraged.
Expectativas generales:
Los estudiantes deben vestirse apropiadamente según el clima diario para garantizar su comodidad durante el recreo al aire libre. La vestimenta y el aseo deben reflejar los estándares de higiene personal y evitar los extremos. La vestimenta no debe interrumpir el proceso educativo ni llamar la atención indebidamente.
No se permiten los siguientes artículos:
- Ropa harapienta, rota o que distraiga deliberadamente.
- Pantalones cortos o faldas.
- Tops halter, blusas que dejen el abdomen al descubierto y pantalones cortos.
- Camisetas sin mangas y pantalones cortos tipo ciclista.
Ropa con lemas o imágenes que:
- Sean vulgares, profanas u obscenas.
- Promuevan el alcohol, el tabaco, las drogas o mensajes contrarios a la misión educativa del distrito.
- Calzado: Los estudiantes deben usar calzado apropiado a diario para correr y jugar con seguridad.
- Se desaconseja encarecidamente el uso de chanclas.
