Parents,
We will begin our end of year testing this week. Here are a few tips to help your child at home:
- Ask them how their day went
- Encourage your child to think positively
- Help your child to get a good nights sleep by going to bed early
- Praise your child for the good they are doing and for what they are learning
A few items student are not allowed to used during the testing times:
- Cell phones
- Smart watches
Any device that is brought outside of school that can distribute test materials

- April 19 Spirit Day-Decades Day
- April 22-26 Teacher Appreciation Week
- Monday-Bring your teacher their favorite flower
- Tuesday-Bring your teacher their favorite thing
- Wednesday-Bring your teacher a need for their classroom
- Thursday-Wear your teacher’s favorite color
- Friday-Parents write a note of appreciation for your child’s teacher
- May 6 Spirit Day-Star Wars Day
- May 22 6 th Grade Graduation 9:00-10:00 am in the gym
- May 23 Dance Festival 8:30-9:30 am-Families Welcome
- May 24 Last Day of School Minimal Day 8:00-9:30 am
If you know anyone in our school boundaries who has kindergarten age kids please ask them to come to the school to register. By having students register now we are better able to prepare for next year.

Note: Beginning in the Fall, Kindergarten will be all day at all Elementary Schools in Alpine School District. At this time, we are not accepting any out of area students. At this time, we are not accepting out of area students.
